Niki is a “40 something” stay-at-home mom. A resident of central NJ, she lives with her husband, two young sons, a dog, and a flock of chickens!
A graduate of Rutgers University, Niki has dabbled in a few careers including retail management, library work, PR intern for major movie houses in NYC, acting as the unofficial hostess/server/bartender for a corporate resort, managing an accessory company to finally landing on service within her state in the realm of child support. She left all of that excitement behind to raise her boys and write a book or two. Her debut children’s book, ‘Sam Likes Jam’ was independently published in March 2017. Her novel, ‘Red Picket Fences’ was published in March 2019 under the pen name, Daphne McLean.
When Niki isn’t writing, she pursues many hobbies that include cooking, gardening, crochet, sewing, and trying to drink a whole cup of coffee while it’s still hot.
She is passionate about all things indie publishing and loves to help others on their journey.
