Hi All!

The snow is melting!!! I was able to get outside and take a nice walk in just a hoodie. I LOVE pullover hoodies, and they’ve been my go-to fashion this entire winter. I may be self isolating for too long because the highlight of my week has been a delivery of fresh new hoodies.

In other news…

We got a puppy! Her name is Daisy Mae, and she’s a Rottweiler/English Bulldog mix. We adopted her from a local rescue a few weeks ago, and we’re all over the moon in love.

I’m surprised that I got anything done this week. However, I managed to put the finishing touches on my Struggling Indie Toolkit!

Below is your weekly summary report on all of the content I’ve posted on www.TheStrugglingIndie.Com

I announced the cover designer directory this week. This is going to be a game changer for us. Please check out the full post here.

Social Media for Authors – Post ideas and tools to help make your life easier!

Indie Author Spotlight – Aaron S. Jones

The Struggling Indie Author Podcast episode for the week is up! This week, I discuss your self-publishing options, and the details needed to upload your book.

If you want to come to hang out and “talk shop” please join the Struggling Indie Author Facebook Group. It’s small right now, but I’m hoping to build it up over the next few months. Would you guys rather meet up on discord? I have no idea how to use it, but I’ll try to figure it out if there is interest.

I’ve been busy this week. Please feel free to drop me a line to let me know what you’ve been up to!

I’m still looking for guests to interview on my podcast. If you are an expert in something pertaining to self-publishing, I want to hear from you. (Newsletters, writing productivity, Ads, Social media, etc.) So far, I have 4 people lined up. I’m super excited to record the interviews!

Finding a cover designer is hard work. Not only do you have to find designers that design for your genre, but you also have to vet them to make sure they are professional, you have to make sure they aren’t booked out. You need to go to different websites, Facebook groups, and Instagram accounts to compare their work with other designers. OR you go to sites like Reedsy, and when you search for someone in your genre, it only yields a single designer. (Yes, this is the case for cozy mystery.) It’s sometimes like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I’m excited to announce the solution! The Cover Designer Directory.
