Indie Author Spotlight – N.T Lazer

One of the most inspiring posts I see on my many author forums is when someone takes the time to share their story. Each Friday, I’m going to feature a different indie author to help inspire all of you!

What is your pen name?

N. T. Lazer

What genre do you write in?

Fantasy (for now) and TONS of flash fiction (which features various genres)

How many books have you published?

1 so far, the second should be out before the end of 2020

What inspired you to become a writer?

I like stories. I think that pretty much covers it. I love being able to say something as an author and people will have to accept it since I am conducting the world they are reading. I can construct whatever I want. Plus, it’s fun to tell jokes as a punchline to an entire story

What is your indie success story?

Ha! Success… Yeah… My biggest success is starting a Kickstarter and getting actual backers. That’s really cool to me. Self publishing isn’t super cheap and to get some social proofing is very motivating.

What are your marketing and advertising strategies?

I have created a subreddit and an Instagram and advertise through there. I’ll try to amp that up once I have more books to offer.

What are you working on right now?

The sequel to the book I have in Kickstarter.
